Create your look. Ensure to create the right look for the category that you are entering.

Take a cool picture of your finished look. You can use an iPhone or similar. Take your picture in PORTRAIT position.

Can I enter more than one creative award?

Yes , Stylists can enter all the awards with the exception of the Trainee Award. Trainees can enter ANY award. So they could enter the trainee award but also the Avant Garde award too.

Can I use a real model?

This year the entries must be on Dolly Heads. We want to create a level playing food for everyone and don't want to encourage people to be working on real models.

Do I need to use clothes or make up?

How you present your image is totally up to you. You can use clothes, make up, props, or anything else that you want to create your total look.

Do I need to create a mood board ?

You don't need to do this but you will find it really helpful in visualising your ideas. Mood boards will help you stay focussed on your hair and incorporating your ideas for any styling or makeup etc..

How are the awards judged?

All the awards will be judged by an independent panel of judges. They will be judged virtually and anonymously. The judges will be a combination of hairdressers, designers, photographers, and fashionistas.
