After nearly five decades in this wonderful industry, I have decided to step back from the salon business and embrace the next chapter of life's great adventure. The time I've spent in this profession have been filled with joy, growth, and beautiful transformations. As I look towards the horizon, I am eager to ensure that my dedicated team and clients receive exceptional care and service.


With this in mind, I'm thrilled to announce a collaborative venture that holds great promise for the future. We have joined forces with SCRUFFS HAIRDRESSING, an exceptional salon brand that has also adorned the city of Cambridge for over half a century. They come with a legacy of excellence, just like our own, and moving ahead, they will be extending their warm embrace to our team there.

Our presence in the Grand Arcade will no longer be, but fear not, for our team will now be based at Scruffs Hairdressing on Bridge St in Cambridge, a mere 5-minute stroll from our current location.

Rest assured, your stylist will retain access to all your records, especially your personalised colour history, ensuring that the story of your hair continues seamlessly.

If you possess a seanhanna gift card, the team at the Scruffs Hairdressing will honour this for you.

For those who've already secured upcoming appointments, these have been seamlessly transferred, safeguarding your precious time. Expect a call from our reception team re-confirming your appointment.

I want you to know that this transition has been a heartfelt one. I've invested considerable time and care into selecting the best home for both my team and our valued clients. My connection with Scruffs spans over four decades, and their founder, Jon, was a dear friend of mine. Today, under the visionary stewardship of his sons, Garry and Grant, Scruffs Hairdressing continues to shine as a beacon of care and innovation. I am confident that both you and your hair will be completely cared for.

Next year, Scruffs Hairdressing will be 60 years old. When I was a lad growing up I was always with my dad as he worked on building the salon, which I now run with my wife Caroline and my brother Grant. I remember my dad and Sean being great friends. So, I am really excited to welcome both the seanhanna team and seanhanna clients into our salon.

Our salon has a lovely warm friendly feeling to it, and we are genuinely passionate about ensuring both our team and clients have a good time when they are here.
